Our Vision:

We strive for a society where all Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI) and others are engaged in political discourse, safeguarding voting rights, and fostering the recruitment of qualified candidates for political office. Through these collective efforts, we aspire to achieve prosperity and drive meaningful change in our society.

Our Mission:

Asian Pacific Islander Outreach (APIO) is dedicated to a mission that centers on the enfranchisement and participation of Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) and other voters in our democratic processes. Our goal is to build an equitable and just society where the lives of our community members are uplifted. We believe that true progress stems from fostering connections, facilitating learning opportunities, and inspiring collaborative action for the greater good.

Our Purpose:

Central to our organization's purpose is the education of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) citizens and others in the North Carolina community. We are committed to equipping individuals with knowledge about their legal and civil rights, empowering them to exercise these rights effectively. This includes educating individuals on voter registration, cultivating an understanding of the importance of voting, and encouraging active engagement in the political process within our community.

 

Through our collective efforts, Asian Pacific Islander Outreach (APIO)  seeks to create an environment where every voice is heard, every vote is counted, and every individual is empowered to drive positive change. Together, we can build a future that embraces diversity, fosters inclusivity, and brings about the transformative impact our community deserves
